Behind The Scenes:
A cleverly scripted update of Macbeth set among New York mob families, Men Of Respect was filmed all over the metropolitan area. We built one set, the Battaglia home, as a railroad apartment in a Greenwich Village tenement. It was painted in stone-like colors and decorated with iron and leather furniture. Bobby Bulowski’s noirish lighting completed the medieval inspired atmosphere.
