Set around the 1901 Pan American Exposition in Buffalo, New York, this play featured over 40 characters and 18 locations in a theatre with a limited backstage and no fly space. I designed a background of 7 sepia photo light-boxes on individual travelers that could be rearranged or concealed in the wings along with small portable pieces. And, yes, we did stage a scene next to a working Niagara Falls.
